          Asharqia Chamber present its best regards and informs you of the receipt of the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (889) date (3.22.1438), referring it to the receipt of the  Council letter and the Ministry of Trade and Investment No. (12787) date (03/08/1438), and containing  the letter  of the Saudi Standards and Quality No. (966) date (2.24.1438),  about the Committee issuing a number of technical regulations that have been approved by  the board of Directors at the meeting (156) held on (09/16/1437 ) are as follows:

    Technical Regulations of Building Materials - Part 1( minerals sectors and their alloys for construction, and buildings).
    Technical Regulations of Building Materials - Part 2 (insulation materials and  coating buildings materials).
    Technical Regulations of biodegradable plastic products.
    Technical Regulations of devices that operate with gas.
    General Regulations of the efficiency of energy consumption.
    Technical Regulations of the tools to rationalize water consumption.

The Committee announced these technical regulations in the Official magazine on (01/13/1438) to take action after six months from the date of announcement, while allowing the usage of the product for a period not exceeding one year, according to what is mentioned in the regulation.
